Tattoo Magazine — May 2006, Issue 201. Brian's work is featured inside this one; the framed cover hangs here at the studio.
A whole frame of them. Skin Art Issue 160 sat down with Brian 'In The Studio,' Skin Art Issue 165 ran his Artist Gallery, and the page in the middle is that Artist Gallery feature itself. The Tattoo Revue covers — Issues 173 and 177, plus the Ink Life Tour issue out of Amarillo — all carry his work too. Every one of these has Brian inside.
Skin Art No. 159 has Brian twice — 'In The Studio with Brian Murphy' right on the cover, and inside, his own Artist Gallery page, where he welcomes readers in his own words. That's the Inked Out NJ 2014 issue — cover girl Brina Murphy.
Back to 2004 — the Woodstock Tattoo and Body Arts Festival program guide, framed whole. Brian's painting hangs in the 'Artists Who Also Tattoo' exhibit, and his Madonna and Child is in 'The Blessed and the Blasphemous' at the Varga Gallery that same weekend. Twenty-plus years on, the frame still stands here in the studio.
PAIN Magazine, April 2005 — they named the studio 'Shop of the Month,' a three-page feature on Third Dimension by Blair S. Watson. 'It's All About Art,' 'A One Stop Shop' — this one's not just Brian, it's the whole shop in print, framed on red here at the studio.
Front page. The Pocono Record, November 14, 2014 — 'Tattoo shop owner puts ink on paper.' Brian had just become co-owner of six classic tattoo magazines: Outlaw Biker, Skin Art, Tattoo Revue, Tattoos for Men, Tattoos for Women, and Tabu Tattoo. That's him in the photo, working on Vinny Kearney's neck right here in Marshalls Creek.
